IMI CCI Czech Republic has achieved a coveted designation as a 'Safe Enterprise' from the government of the Czech Republic.
Irena Jelínková, HSE Manager was invited to a special ceremony hosted by the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, Michaela Marksová-Tominová, where she accepted a certificate and trophy on behalf of the company.
"In the 18 years that the 'Safe Enterprise' scheme has been running, only 83 companies have been certified, so we are really proud to have achieved this certification," said Irena Jelínková.
The award reflects the commitment the staff and company have put into improving HSE standards in the plant in Brno. The certification process took a year to complete, and included testing audits from Czech Republic government officers. The certification is valid for three years, before it will need to be renewed.
